Color Me Tone's Colored Babies in 2013

 

"Much knowledge and wisdom was gained during the course of time these Colored Babies' creation were made. It was during this period in my life that the universe told me to 'use it or lose it.' I felt like schools can not teach an artist to be an artist, so I made the decision to drop out and  pursue my passion fulltime. (Once again) Many emotions we felt during this time and you can sort of tell by my style then. Size definately began to matter during this time..."

"During this time, I decided to quit my full time job at Home Depot's Corporate Creative Center to pursue my dreams of becoming a well known, great influencial artist. During the duration of my 6 month self employment journey, a group of 5 other friends and I got together everyday and every night to create together in my studio apartment. We called this place 'The muse.' I want to great a space where like minded individuals could release in an influencial progressive environment. There were many sleepless nights in the company of other creative minded individuals. Its something about the night time that highened the experience of creating. These photos are a recap of the birth of 'Colored Babies.'
